Supporting Arts Events & Creative Learning in Macon County

The Decatur Area Arts Council (DAAC) offers grants to foster arts programming and education throughout Macon County and surrounding communities. These grants are designed to support innovative projects that enrich the cultural fabric of our region.

Grant Details

• Eligibility: Must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
• Award Range: Typically $200–$1,000
• Service Area: Macon County and nearby communities (subject to committee discretion)
• Project Start Date: Must begin after grant approval

Application Timeline

Grant applications are reviewed twice per year. Applications are due:

• September 1, 2026, by 4:30 PM
• November 2, 2026, by 4:30 PM
• March 1, 2027, by 4:30 PM

Requirements

• Review the grant guidelines to confirm eligibility
• Submit a final report by August 31, 2027
• No funds will be disbursed until the final report is submitted and approved
