Wunderlich’s experiences as mother, daughter, friend, and partner inspire playful and poignant imagery depicting the challenges and contrasts of human interaction.

Wunderlich has been the recipient of several awards and grants, including multiple fellowships from The Ohio Arts Council and The Greater Columbus Arts Council. She is a 2020 Fellowship Award Recipient from the Illinois Arts Council Agency and Janis an assistant professor of art history, ceramics, and art foundations at Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois. She is represented by Sherrie Gallery in Columbus, Ohio.

First Friday Gallery Walk: Friday, March 1, 5-7 pm.
(The event is open free to the public.)

First Friday Gallery Walk includes three galleries:

  • Madden Arts Center, Anne Lloyd Gallery - 125 N. Water St.
    Artist talk - 6 pm
  • Blue Connection - 117 N. Water St.
    Featured artist Stephen Gardner - Artist talk - 6 pm
  • GALLERY 510 - 160 E. Main St.
    Featured artist Leta Burch - Artist talk - 6:30 pm

Gallery Field Trips: Open to school and community groups of all ages – Includes a guided tour through the gallery exhibit and a related art project in the studio with an instructor. By appointment during gallery hours (M-F, 9 am-4 pm). Ask about available scholarships!
