Gallery - Barn Colony Artists Spring Show - May 2024

Exhibit: May 1-23, 2024
Gallery Hours: M-F 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Sa 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

This exhibit showcases the work of members of The Barn Colony, an art guild that started in Decatur in 1939! Members meet weekly in the Madden Arts Center to explore a variety of techniques and mediums. This annual exhibit shows off the best of what they have created throughout the year.

First Friday Gallery Walk: Friday, May 3, 5-7 pm.
(The event is open free to the public.)

First Friday Gallery Walk includes three galleries:

• Madden Arts Center, Anne Lloyd Gallery - 125 N. Water St.
• Blue Connection - 117 N. Water St.
• GALLERY 510 - 160 E. Main St.

Gallery Field Trips: Open to school and community groups of all ages – Includes a guided tour through the gallery exhibit and a related art project in the studio with an instructor. By appointment during gallery hours (M-F, 9 am-4 pm). Ask about available scholarships!
