Along with performances by the winners of Millikin University’s annual Concerto/Aria Competition, the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra will present an collection of favorites inspired by the young, school settings, and even graduation day! We will also present Benjamin Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra which guides the listener through the instrumental families and the various orchestral sounds and styles available to the ensemble.
Recommended grades: 1st – 6th grades
Approximate length: 60 minutes
