PASS - For the Young and Young at Heart!

Along with performances by the winners of Millikin University’s annual Concerto/Aria Competition, the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra will present an collection of favorites inspired by the young, school settings, and even graduation day! We will also present Benjamin Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra which guides the listener through the instrumental families and the various orchestral sounds and styles available to the ensemble.

Recommended grades: 1st – 6th grades
Approximate length: 60 minutes

A part of the DAAC Performing Arts Series for Students (PASS) designed to open doors to learning through the performing arts. Five high quality shows have been chosen with your students in mind. Please reserve seats for the program(s) that best suit the needs of your class. Remember, the learning continues in the classroom long after the performance is over.
