Decatur Area Arts Council and Millikin’s Rock University are cranking up the holiday spirit to 11!
Decatur Area Arts Council and Millikin’s Rock University are cranking up the holiday spirit to 11 with “Christmas Time in Soy City: A Rockin’ Musical Review” to be performed Saturday, December 21st at the Decatur Civic Center. The festive show is filled with your favorite and soon-to-be-favorite Rock, Pop, and R&B holiday tunes, gift wrapped in the style of a classic TV Christmas special.
The talented group of performers represent both organizations: vocalists Jerry Johnson, Jayson Albright, Mikey Shoneman, and Emma Snearly, with a band led by Braun Sheets that features Mike Snearly, Keenan Wilcott, Hugh Sullivan, Graham Wene, and a horn section fronted by Dr. Neal Smith. Rock University’s “All Star” group of kids will also perform, as will special guest Ashley Riley.

In the spirit of the season, we also ask that guests bring new pairs of socks that the Salvation Army can offer to Decatur’s homeless.
