First Friday Gallery Walk - July 9, 2021

The event is open free to the public.

This summer's June/July International Arts Experience: Discover MEXICO exhibit continues through July 28 in the Anne Lloyd Gallery at the Madden Arts Center, 125 N. Water St. in downtown Decatur. The exhibit explores both historic and modern traditions from various regions of Mexico through the lens of the arts.

The public is invited to attend a reception for the exhibit which will be held during the First Friday Gallery Walk in downtown Decatur on Friday, July 9, 5-7:30 pm. The Xochitl-Quetzal Aztec Dancers from Chicago will perform at 6 p.m. and explain the origins of their costumes and dances.

    - Exhibiting artist Dan Modzelewski will speak at 6:30 pm
  • THE ARTFARM: 252 N Park St.
