August 20, 2018

Offering a Friday VIP event and Saturday main event.

MRI (Macon Resources, Inc.) and the Decatur Area Arts Council (DAAC) will once again host the Decatur Craft Beer Festival in downtown Decatur with proceeds to benefit these two local non-profits. The brew will be flowing under the big tent on Saturday, September 8 from 1-7 pm on N. Water Street outside the DAAC. A wide variety unique craft beers and ciders along with other fun will be offered, including local breweries from across the state, soda and water, live music and on-site food trucks.

Saturday festival tickets are $30 each and include admission to the event, eight tasting tickets, and a souvenir glass. There is also a $10 Designated Driver option for our non-beer-drinking guests.

Partners

With similarly aligned missions, MRI and the DAAC are again excited to collaborate on this popular fundraising event. MRI aims to promote the growth, independence and self-worth of children and adults with disabilities while DAAC promotes arts for all. DAAC’s mission is to introduce and promote the arts, enhance arts educational opportunities, and increase the impact of and access to the arts to improve the quality of life in the community, which has included partnering with MRI’s 'Our Voice Through Art' program allowing teenagers and adults with disabilities to express themselves through art.
