An outdoor exhibit/competition comprised of larger-than-life 'Christmas cards' created by local artists and community groups.
After a successful first year in 2018, the Decatur Area Arts Council is again hosting this outdoor exhibit/competition comprised of larger-than-life 'Christmas cards' created by local artists and community groups.
The fee to participate is $25 per card, to be paid with a submitted application. Space is limited... first come, first served.
DAAC will provide a 4’x6’ sheet of 1/2 inch thick plywood (primed with white paint).
Artists must provide all other needed supplies/materials to create their design.
Deadline to return completed card is November 22, 2019. The finished cards will be displayed in downtown Decatur (300 N. Water St.) from November 29 to December 30, 2019. The community will be invited to vote for their favorite card designs and cash prizes will be awarded to the top three designs.
