Four grants awarded in February 2023. Next deadline is May 1.
The Decatur Area Arts Council grant program supports and promotes events and creative learning experiences offered by schools and other non-profit organizations where the arts are the main focus.
DAAC is proud to announce the following recipients of the latest grants for arts programming:
- Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre - Production expenses for the play Spring Awakenings.
- Millikin School of Theatre and Dance - Production expenses for the play Exhausted Paint: The Death of Van Gogh.
- Barn Colony Artists - Hire professional artists to teach art lessons.
- Sangamon Valley High School - Production expenses for the play 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
