The Decatur Area Arts Council is excited to announce the winners of the second annual "Christmas Card Lane" holiday public art competition.
This outdoor exhibit/competition was comprised of 17 larger-than-life 'cards' created by local artists and groups. The cards were installed in downtown Decatur (across from ADM Center) for display from November 23 to December 30, 2019. The public was invited to vote online for their favorite card through December 24, 2019.
The top three vote-getters and prize winners are...
- First - $200 -- Johns Hill Magnet School - "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman"
- Second - $100 -- Parsons Elementary School - "Shining Love & Kindness"
- Third - $50 -- Lutheran School Association (k-6th grades) - "Peace on Earth"
