After-School Arts Classes: September

Ages 6-12 | Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays | 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Start the semester with an afternoon full of creativity at DAACs After-School Arts Classes! September students will explore drawing, painting, clay, collage, music-inspired art, and more through fun, hands-on projects designed to build artistic confidence and imagination.

This month's projects include alien self-portraits, miniature clay fairy gardens, art inspired by Frida Kahlo, recycled instruments, paper mosaics, an outer-space mural, cartoon design, and drawing inspired by different music genres.

After-School Arts Classes are part of a continuing semester-long program, but families may register month-by-month. Choose Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or both days to create the schedule that works best for your student.

Artist Shannon Cook will guide the class. Each session will include movement, and a snack will be provided
