Douglas Johnson, a very accomplished painter and experienced instructor with a special interest in color theory and mixing, serves as the Executive Director of the McLean County Arts Center in Bloomington, IL. The painting process is central to Doug's studio practice, and gives him an opportunity to explore place, investigate color and light, and find expression in the everyday and the often overlooked, creating paintings that reflect a reverence for the Illinois landscape. The Anne Lloyd Gallery at Madden Art Center hosted an exhibit of Doug's work in August 2022.
The cost is $10 (Paid at the door).
