October 17: I Don't Know What to Write!

Creative Writing for Absolute Beginners

Staring at a blank page? This playful, beginner-friendly workshop takes the pressure out of creative writing through unexpected prompts, found words, first-line inspiration, and hands-on exercises. Leave with new writing, fresh ideas, and more confidence about where to begin.

November 7: The Rooms We Remember

Writing Place & Memory Using Our Senses

Revisit a meaningful place from your life through writing. Using sensory details, memory, and guided creative exercises, participants will explore how sounds, scents, objects, and emotions can bring a place, and the stories connected to it, back to life on the page.

November 21: The Stories We Inherit

Passing Down Stories Through Generations

Explore the family stories, traditions, sayings, recipes, photographs, and memories that have shaped you. Through approachable prompts and storytelling exercises, participants will begin preserving pieces of their personal and family history for the future.

December 12: The Book Inside of Me

Where Do I Even Begin?

For anyone who has ever said, "Someday, I'm going to write a book.” This workshop helps participants identify meaningful memories, create a personal memory map, uncover connecting themes, and find a starting point for a memoir, personal essay collection, family history, or another story waiting to be written.

Registration Fee: $200 for the entire series. Snacks and coffee will be provided.
