Keep the creativity going this October with a new month of imaginative after-school art experiences! Students will experiment with a variety of materials and techniques while creating projects inspired by artists, stories, animals, and the spooky season.
October activities include comic-book creation, origami, painting inspired by Vincent van Gogh, clay animals, monster masks inspired by Where the Wild Things Are, pumpkin painting, haunted-house creations, and I Spy-inspired collage making.
Although the program builds throughout the semester, each month offers fresh projects and can be taken on its own. Families can enroll for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or both days, and may choose the months that best fit their schedules.
Artist Shannon Cook will guide the class. Each session will include movement, and a snack will be provided
