After School Art Classes

Learn more and REGISTER for Fall 2026

Each fall and spring, DAAC offers exciting, hands-on arts experiences for students ages 6 and up.

This fall, we are offering greater flexibility for families interested in our After-School Art Classes. Only available on Tuesdays? Want to attend twice a week? Available in September, but not October or November? Families may choose the day or days, and the months, that work best for their schedules.

Led by artist Shannon Cook, students will explore acting, sculpting, painting, drawing, building, and art history while learning the fundamentals of art-making. Projects will encourage creativity, build confidence, and introduce young artists to a wide range of materials and techniques.

Students ages 6-12, in 1st through 5th grades, are invited to let their creativity flow from 3:30-5:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or both days. Each session will include movement and energy-burning activities, and a snack will be provided.
