Become a Legacy Member

Be a part of the future of the Decatur Area Arts Council by planning for a special kind of gift, such as a bequest in your will or a trust that pays you income. We encourage you to work with your accountant, counsel, or financial advisor to analyze your individual situation and the tax consequences thoroughly before making any decisions. Learn more below about a few of the options available:

Beneficiary Designations
One of the simplest ways to support our future is to name the Decatur Area Arts Council as a beneficiary (or partial beneficiary) on your life insurance policies, IRAs, or other retirement investment vehicles. Contact your financial or legal advisor to learn more about how to use these assets as a gift to the Decatur Area Arts Council.

Bequests
Another way to support Decatur's arts in the future is to provide a bequest to the Decatur Area Arts Council in your will.
