ARTIST BIO
Katie Hinton
Katie Hinton, of Decatur, earned her BFA from Millikin University, a Post Baccalaureate from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, and her MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. During graduate school she refined her own visual and conceptual vocabulary that emerged through her focus on the points of intersection between painting, sculpture, and spatial analysis.
