KAREN GUBITZ & ADAM LONG Both Karen Gubitz and Adam Long are inspired by the forms and textures of nature. Both incorporate natural materials into their sculptures. Each, however, treats the beauty of nature in a very different and unique way. A self-taught fiber artist from the Chicago area, Gubitz explores expressive possibilities through combining natural and non-traditional materials with methods that have a deep and rich history in fiber…
