The public is invited to attend Arts in Central Park in historic Central Park in downtown Decatur on Saturday and Sunday, September 20th and 21st . Hosted by Decatur Area Arts Council, City Centre Decatur, and Gallery 510, this juried fine arts fair is free and open to the public. Over 80 artists from 7 states will be exhibiting their artwork for sale. The variety of artwork includes jewelry, watercolors, oils, pottery, metal sculptors, woodworking, photography, fiber arts, glass blowing, and more.

and a raku demonstration by local artists Regina and Doug Rhodes. The Sidewalk Stompers and Leo Pondel Trio will provide the musical entertainment.

Kids 12 and under can shop at the popular Art Shop for Kids where specialty items by participating artists can be purchased for $3, $4, and $5. Kids Art Activities will be available in the park from 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday and are provided by Just for Kids.

A Preview Party on Friday evening, September 19th, from 5:30 – 7:30, will kick off the event.
