See what it feels like to play in a large, finely-tuned ensemble.

This program is the perfect opportunity to see what it feels like to play in a large, finely-tuned ensemble. Cutting edge multimedia techniques will be used to get a “birds eye view” of what the Decatur Youth Symphony Orchestra members experience while they perform a variety of traditional and contemporary music. Students will have an opportunity to participate in the performance and experience the music making process first hand, and leave with a greater understanding of what it's like to play music with others and excited about the possibility of playing an instrument themselves.

Recommended Grades: 3 – 5
Approximate Length: 60 minutes
Location: Kirkland Fine Arts Center

Presented by: Youth Symphony Orchestra
