DAAC adds an Events and Services Coordinator

Decatur Area Arts Council has hired Cathy Briggs as its new Events and Services Coordinator. In this role, she will be responsible for coordinating a wide variety of duties necessary for events and fundraising projects of the Decatur Area Arts Council.

Cathy comes to the Arts Council after serving as the DeWitt County Coordinator for Dove and an intern with the DAAC. Her experience operating the DeWitt County Dove office and programs along with her work recruiting and managing volunteers make her an excellent fit for the Arts Council. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Communication from Millikin University. 

She, her husband and two children reside in Decatur.
